HERITAGE SUNDAY Sunday, Sept. 13, 11 to 4 pm
Take a journey to the past by attending FBM’s biggest event of the year, HERITAGE SUNDAY! You can see the mill in action and visit the cooperage to see two incredible hand-built 1-12th scale models: One of the Beckman Mill and the other of the Beckman Family's Home. And be sure to stop in at the Visitor Center for neat gifts and to see the creamery and blacksmith shop displays. On the park grounds you'll find antique cars, tractors, engines, machinery, horse drawn carriage rides, vintage crafts, old time music, great food, beverages and more. EARLY PIONEER ENCAMPMENT Saturday & Sunday, October 3 & 4
A collection of historical re-enactors will come together and create a primitive settlement in Beckman Mill Park. The event will depict life ways of our early Mississippi frontier heritage. Fur traders, woodworkers, hunters and families will share their knowledge and demonstrate common activities of the late 1700's and the early 1800's. Many hand tools, cooking utensils and weaponry items will be on display. Visitors may also witness one of the old time competitions.
