Mill MapLOCATION & TOUR INFO

The Beckman Mill is located in Beckman Mill Park approximately 6 miles west of Beloit, Wisconsin on County Road H. It is one mile south of Highway 81.

The park encompasses 50 acres in a beautiful rural setting and is open year-round from 5 am to 10 pm. A park shelter withpicnic tables is available on a rental basis. For more information about the park, contact http://www.co.rock.wi.us/

Guided tours of the mill are available for individuals, families and small groups on Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 4 pm May through October. Admission is $3 per person. Children and members of Friends of Beckman Mill are admitted free.

MOTOR COACH AND SCHOOL GROUP TOURS

Guidelines and Information for Group Tours:

• Group tours are offered May through October. Inquire about possible exceptions.

• Tours can be arranged between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm. Inquire about possible exceptions.

• Mill tours generally run 45 minutes to one hour. Allow extra time for viewing the fish passage, dam, pond, cooperage building and other park areas.

• Cost for motor coach tours is $5 per person with host and bus driver admitted free. Inquire about school group fees.

• Busses unload and load in the park’s paved parking lot. An alternative is the lower portion of the mill’s driveway if members of the group find walking difficult.

• Rest rooms are available at the visitor center and also near the mill.

• A shelter and picnic tables as well as drinking water are located near the parking lot.

• Arrangements for food and beverage are the responsibility of the tour group.
