Ice cream and cake, and root beer floats will be served in the shelter with John Sheehan playing his concertina. Artists will be painting in different areas throughout the park for you to observe and ask questions. There will several special activities for kids to express their artistic talent. At 2:30 guests will be invited to crank the handle to make homemade ice cream. Corn will be ground by the original 1858 turbine and water power. The museum and gift shop will be open also. There is no charge for the activities or treats, but donations are appreciated so that the Friends group can continue to keep history alive! Call 608-751-1551 for more info.
