Griinke Foot Bridge

Below the dam and spanning the tail race (stream) that exits the mill is a unique covered foot bridge. It was constructed by Friends of Beckman Mill and is in memory of Herman and Augusta Griinke. Herman was a partner in the mill with August Beckmann from 1892-1908.

The bridge is a very popular addition to Beckman Mill Park and is used occasionally as a venue for weddings, family celebrations, picnics, school tour groups, etc. For more information, call 608 751-1551 or email us below.
