Ice cream, cake and root beer floats will be served during the celebration. Artists from around the region will display their works in a beautiful open air gallery. Guests are invited to watch and interact with the artist, and some art works will be for sale.

Kids also will be able to explore their artistic side. Children will be invited to paint on canvases provided for them at the celebration. Paint also will be provided. Kids only need to provide their artistic spirit.

Besides the art exhibits and painting, free activities will include watching the 1868 mill in operation, stroll the Oak Savanna Boardwalk, visiting the museum, explore the fish ladder, discover the new musical playground equipment, or simply lounge in the shelter and enjoy the ice cream treats There is no charge for any of the activities or the treats, but donations are greatly appreciated.

Visitors also will be able to make ice cream. Guests will turn the crank on the ice cream maker and then taste their freshly made cool creation.
